Bleached Zoo Review

I created this card for a little guy that I've been babysitting for the last 3 1/2 years. Today is his last day with me, he is starting preschool on Tuesday!

I stamped the animals on Crumb Cake and embossed them with Black embossing powder. Then I used my Aquapainter filled with bleach to lighten the animals. Finally, on the giraffe, I colored the spots with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write marker. The background is from Well Worn Designer Series Paper on the bottom, and Cajun Craze on top. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. For a finishing touch I tied hemp twine around the zebra card. TFL!

Katie, I received your card in a Sudsol swap at Louisville regional. I love it and looked up your blog to find out how to do this myself. I was so pleased that you have shared this right here for us. This is an awesome card and I will try it. Thanks for sharing.

Katie -
I also received your great card last year in the SUDSOL swap and am CASEing the bleaching idea for my Zoe Review class this weekend. My zebra will be on Crumb Cake bordered with black and then on R/iding Hood Red. Thanks for the inspiration!
